The past hour has gone by in a "Flash" thanks to Grant Gustin's Arrow debut as Barry Allen, and we now have a first look at his second appearance in the CW series! Will we see the scientist gain his powers in the midseason finale? Hit the jump for a first look at "Three Ghosts".

After a fight with Cyrus Gold AKA the Acolyte (guest star Graham Shiels), Oliver (Stephen Amell) is drugged and left for dead. Determined to cure him, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) makes a risky decision. The cure causes Oliver to hallucinate, and what he sees forces him to confront his past. Meanwhile, Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) continues to help Felicity, and their connection grows stronger. The Arrow asks Lance (Paul Blackthorne) to look into Gold, but when the stakeout on Gold goes bad, someone is killed. Roy (Colton Haynes) is captured and tortured by Brother Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro). John Behring directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kresiberg and teleplay by Geoff Johns & Ben Sokolowski.

i liked the episode, definitely a setup episode,first parts are usually that,i really like barry,sure he gives off abit of a Peter Parker vibe, but i still like him, barry is avery likable, regular guy who always does the right thing and think grant is can can further carry that and his own show

Alright, that last fight with Brother Bloods henchman was awesome.

Gustin is good so far, want to see more before being completely sold.

Geoff Johns was involved with this episode as well as next weeks, I definitely think that was a reference to the Reverse Flash which will play a role in the Flash tv series.

Episode rocked. They should have went ahead and showed next weeks episode as well. I don't wanna wait that long!

while i definitely liked the episode, there was nothing that really made me go "WOW" moira now knows about ras al ghul and the league and ras wants malcolm dead, maybe thats why Nyssa comes,to Kill Malcolm, cyrus was fricking strong, slade is gonna more badass then he was before, i think i was just overall impressed with Grant as Barry, again...just a very likable guy, just like how Barry should be imo

No not the same universe. Jed Eubanks is in Man of steel and Arrow and doesn't play the same character.

Wow..he's [frick]ing Barry Allen...he even has his clumsy mannerisms that Barry was so infamous for. Kid has a great smile and he is really really optimistic compared to Ollie. That's good. No wonder they picked him, he is young 23 year old Barry Allen from the comics. Geoff Johns also wrote him very well. Anyone think he was seeing Zoom kill his mom? He said it was blur and a series of tornados and a man inside. Anyone thinking time travel? Anyone catch the Kord references. This season is shaping up pretty interesting. And why did Ollie shoot Roy in the leg? LOL?

Gustin was actually not that bad. And man, if they're going to namedrop things like ****** [frick]ing RA'S AL GHUL, LEAGUE OF ASSASINS, NOT BEING THE FIRST VIGILANTE, PROFESSOR ZOOM, "ALIENS"***** then you might as well come out and say already that it is connected to the movies. There is no way you get to use that much of DC lore while being separated from an already confirmed DCCU
