OLIVER MUST DECIDE ONCE AND FOR ALL IF HE’S A KILLER OR A HERO — Slade (Manu Bennett) moves forward with his plan to kill one more person in Oliver’s (Stephen Amell)life. While Oliver has fought all year to be more than the killer he once was, when Slade kidnaps someone close to Oliver’s heart, Oliver is pushed to the edge and realizes sometimes it takes doing the unthinkable to stop the monster. Meanwhilee, Diggle (David Ramsey) takes on Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) with a little help from some friends, and Thea (Willa Holland) turns to Roy (Colton Haynes) in her time of need. John Behring directed the episode with story byGreg Berlanti and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Andrew Kreisberg (#223).

I think Ollie is gonna use the cure on Slade instead of killing him. I'm assuming Slade kidnaps Laurel and has Oliver choose between her or Sarah. I don't think either Sarah or Laurel will die (although I'm hoping Sarah does die). If Sarah survives, I'm assuming she will leave with Nyssa.

I'd be happy with a scene that features Slade firing a shot right at Oliver almost point blank and all you see is a red streak pass in front of Ollie... Both surpised by what just happened, Ollie takes advantage of the situation and wins their big battle royale and to end the episode, we barry just hanging out in ollie's lair just waiting for them to return... tthat'd be a cameo I'd like to see...

I want ti think that Slade will be taken alive (in a coma or something like that) by ARGUS and have an explosive placed in his brain and his spine. He will then become a permanent member of the Suicide Squad.

Manu is [frick]ing awesome as Slade, became a big fan of his from Spartacus, really too bad he's "wasted" on this show...don't get me wrong, LOVE this show, but if they don't mix universes with the movies, he is kinda wasted...was hoping Manu would have been Crossbones in Cap, but Frank G. was awesome...

@TheWolfman I'm feeling that idea, except with Barry waiting. I'd prefer it to happen and then not be mentioned until Barry comes back and he mentions it. Then while Oliver puts it together they show the situation from Barry's point of view.

Excellent. I've been waiting patiently for the Suicide Squad to redeem themselves and earn their keep.
Slade kidnaps someone close to Ollie's heart? That's either Laurel, so that she can confront the Arrow, or it's Detective Lance, so he can get killed off.

I'm 3 episodes behind, did this show pick up some or are we still in the mellow drama stage? If I skip straight to the season finale will I miss any thing from the past eps?

The second half of this season has really been intense. First half was very soapish. I do feel like they have dragged this Deathstroke saga on enough. I'm not sure we can be satisfied with the outcome of the arc. Slade will survive; he's too big a character in the DCU to die on TV. Ollie will obviously survive, so we're left will supporting characters dying off, and some kind of conclusion that doesn't really end with a winner or a loser. I think Merlyn will reappear and the league of assassins must have a greater impact somehow outside of giving us a lesbian for Canary. I hope the season finishes strong. I'd hate to see all of this building tension fall flat.
