As you may recall, Stephen Amell made his pro wrestling debut at WWE SummerSlam a couple of years ago when he competed in a tag team match and performed better than anyone expected (even the pickiest of wrestling fans praised his performance). Well, the Arrow star made his return to the squared circle this past Friday night for Ring of Honor show Survival of the Fittest alongside The Bullet Club.
Performing in the main event alongside Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, he squared off with The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian), Flip Gordon and Scorpio Sky. The Bullet Club picked up the win but Amell actually ended up being sent crashing through a table!
Amell worked with Rhodes when he was known as Stardust in WWE so it's no surprise that they've teamed up again here. Ring of Honor isn't quite up there with WWE in terms of popularity but these two have become close friends, raising money for charity together and even going into business selling specially themed wines. Rhodes has also appeared on Arrow twice as the evil Derek Sampson.
