We knew this was coming for a while now, but with
Arrow star Stephen Amell recently revealing that
he donned the Green Arrow suit for the last time, it's hard not to feel like the forthcoming series finale is nearly upon us.
And now, after nearly half of season 8 has been aired, The CW has officially set a date for the series, and it looks as if the show’s last moments will be quite the celebration. Per the network,
Arrow will conclude its final season with an epic two-hour event on January 28, 2020.
This colossal event will kick off with a finale preview that airs at 8:00 pm and will be followed by the final episode at 9:00 pm. There are currently no details on what exactly the finale preview will entail, but it’s expected to serve as a celebration of sorts for the show’s entire run.
Similarly, there is little known about the last episode of
Arrow, but thanks to some recent announcements, we do know
Emily Bett Rickards and Joe Dinicol will return to reprise their roles as Felicity Smoak and Rory Regan.
