Though tomorrow's new episode of Arrow focuses on Oliver's (Stephen Amell) return to the island of Lian Yu and his final confrontation with Deathstroke (Manu Bennett), Arrow showrunner Marc Guggenheim teased to TV Line that the following episode is one that will set up what's to occur later this season.  "It’s one of those episodes where everything came together very nicely — its got some wonderful character moments, some incredible action, and it’s got a final twist that I think people will be talking about for a long time. Certainly a twist that sets the table for the remainder of the season."

Arrow season 3, episode 15 "Nanda Parbat" airs Wednesday, February 25th at 8 PM on The CW.  Tomorrow's new episode, (season 3, episode 14 "The Return") focuses on the Arrow embarking on his training with Merlyn (John Barrowman) in preparation for round 2 with Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable).  Dermot Downs directed the episode from a script penned by Marc Guggenheim and Erik Oleson.

Olivers return to life (without the pit) and raz's look are really starting to sink in with me in a negative way.
they had a chance to bring the actual character from the comics to life far better than batman begins and have blown it..

The Flash is my favorite comic book tv show, by a lot.
But the DCCU has only had a movie, is it really fair to compare?

I definitely think Tommy Merlin is coming back. He even had a cameo at the beginning of the season in the Hong Kong flashback.

I think they should end the DeathStroke storyline in this season but continue Ra's story and one new main villain for 4th season and please change the costume and call it Green Arrow.

@BlackestKnight, nope its not but this is the internet not monopoly its not a fair place. And I got high hopes for for DCCU but "*Ezra Miller*" Flash EWWW. And I'm really hoping DC has a huge picture in mind and we get Crisis on Infinite Earth/Convergence movie and we have the two Universes come together to give us the most epic Action/Sifi movie EEEEEVER!!!!!

everyone calls amell a shit actor, but really how much emotion would most of you show after killing countless people or being alone on an island for a few years.
youd be distant as hell...

I know its not like the comics but most of you eat up "realism" and thats what they've delivered.

I honestly feel this season of Arrow has gone downhill after the magnificence that was season 2. No clear antagonist, bunch of fillers, Ollie coming back to life without the Lazarus Pit, too much Laurel and killing Sara...Just all the wrong things.

@TheGoddamnPeel

Have you been blind? In order: ras is the main antagonist. Did killing Oliver not show that? Filler: every [frick]ing episode does something that leads to the next life, there are other ways in comics to gain healing abilities and come back to life. Sorry for character development for laurel. And Sara kicked off the season.

@TheGoddamnPeel As much as I like the show, I have to agree. There's no real, clear mission this season. If finding Sara's killer was going to be the focus, then every episode should have been about finding the killer. Too many episodes were filler that had nothing to do with Sara's killer. And the motivation for the villain is pretty weak. I don't see why Oliver couldn't just explain Merlyn's role in Thea's culpability and then just hand Merlyn over. Problem solved. There's no real threat to Starling City this season.

I thought they implied he (Ra's) would have killed Thea anyways...but...like, I'm not paying too much attention to this season for reasons you guys have stated.

I think Brick was beginning to look like the better villain of the season before he got taken out.

Before the Oliver's death they were talking about how after it everything changes, everything is going to be different, it's the same damn show, nothing changed...
