According to TV Line, Neal McDonough will be the latest DC bad guy to cause trouble in Starling City as he's signed on to play Damien Darhk in season 4 of the CW's Arrow. Darhk did actually play an unseen role in the season 3 finale, with Ra's Al Ghul warning Oliver about his mysterious friend-turned-adversary. This take on the character is described as “a mysterious and sophisticated villain, and an adversary of the late Ra’s Al Ghul. Now the leader of his own clandestine group, this cunning foe will prove to be one of the Arrow’s greatest challenges.”

McDonough will be best known to CBMers as Dum Dum Dugan in both Captain America: The First Avenger and TV's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., but he's also had roles in the likes of TNT’s Mob City, FX’s Justified and USA Network’s Suits. Oh, and he played Bison in Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun-Li of course.

Interesting..but hoping they don't spend the whole season with this guy as the big bad. So many other options that can be explored as well!

It's a shame that Raul Julia's last role was Bison in the JCVD Street Fighter movie. He deserved better than that.

Hopefully He still appears in Agent Carter. He was surely an entertaining character and that's just one episode.

And hopefully he plays a part in elevate this season of Arrow.

He's a good actor, and I'm looking forward to his performance. Sure he is in Marvel stuff, but he's an actor wanting a job. I'm curious about his performance because this is the first live action version of the character.

They didn't say it was hard to do the character justice, but they read Kevin Smith's quote about how he wishes for the character to not be used in live-action.

@KurtWagner1225 I knooooow. I wish they could just go for the challenge and adapt him. It would be some new, maniacal and dark territory for arrow. He's so eerie and dangerous. He'd be an advesary the likes of which Ollie hasn't seen. A serial killer is a whole new playing field
