Arsenal reduced to a recurring role, with the character not appearing until the 12th episode. However, it looks as if
Green Arrow's comic book sidekick will be returning fairly early on in season 5. Though fans shouldn't get their hopes up for a full-time return for Haynes. He's recently booked a season-long guest spot on Fox's
Scream Queens.
News of Colton Haynes' appearance on the Vancouver set of Arrow was leaked during a
snapchat session from Curtis Holt actor Echo Kellum.
Earlier this year, Colton revealed that he was originally slated to remain a series regular on
Arrow but sought a reduced role following tabloids outing him as a gay man. The shock of the reveal left Colton, who naturally has anxiety issues, in a state of poor mental health. He's since recovered and officially came out in a May issue of Entertainment Weekly.
