Fan outcry for Diggle (David Ramsey) to don a disguise and protect his family and colleagues was finally mitigated in season four of The CW's Arrow. However, picky fans were not happy with the execution, instantly zeroing in on Spartan's head attire and its close resemblance to the helmet worn by a certain X-Men villain. It seems David Ramsey thought the design should be a little different as well, as he touted a new look that would be constructed by S.T.A.R. Labs' wisecracking superhero-in-the-making, Cisco Ramon (Carlso Valdes). Well, despite making a trip to Central City last season to help A.R.G.U.S. trackdown King Shark, Diggle never received his costume upgrade.
At Heroes & Villains Fan Fest 2016 this past weekend, Ramsey reportedly stated [via ScreenRant] that Diggle will finally recieve his new duds in season 5.
Previously, Stephen Amell also reported that he'd be receiving a new costume as well, so perhaps S.T.A.R. Labs will be outfitting all of Team Arrow next season?
