Katie Cassidy's Black Canary will be featured in Arrow season 5 but it doesn't look like fans should expect a miraculous resurrection. Instead, it looks as if Black Canary will be receiving some sort of memorial statue in Star City.

Following Black Canary's death and the team disbanding in the season finale, it looks as if Stephen Amell's Green Arrow will lead an all new team of heroes in season 5.  Rick Gonzalez will play Wild Dog, Josh Segarra will play Vigilante and season 4 guest star Madison McLaughin will return in a recurring  capacity as Artemis.  Chad Coleman was recently cast as season 5's main antagonist, mob boss Tobias Church., who may or may not be a play on DC Comics villain Tobias Whale
