After immensely disappointing third and fourth seasons, it sounds like Arrow may just be getting back on track.

Next week's installment will see Oliver dig deeper into Prometheus, but it doesn't look like he's going to like what he finds, and that's something that just might tear up the team. Meanwhile, Thea & Lance have a long overdue heart-to-heart and Felicity & Curtis unearth something about Oliver's past. Check out the new extended promo below:

“So It Begins” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, V) (HDTV)

SINS OF THE FATHER — When Prometheus ups his killing spree, Oliver (Stephen Amell) searches for connections between the victims. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Curtis (Echo Kellum) discover the victims have a mysterious link to Oliver’s past and this new secret could upend his new team. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) has a heart-to-heart with Lance (Paul Blackthorne), and Felicity considers telling Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) the truth about her work. John Behring directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Brian Ford Sullivan (#506). Original airdate 11/9/2016.

Newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen finds himself challenged as he fights on two fronts for the future of Star City. With Diggle back in the military and Thea adamant about hanging up her hood as Speedy, Team Green Arrow is down to just Oliver and Felicity – but they’re no longer the only vigilantes in town. Green Arrow’s public defeat of Damien Darhk at the end of Season Four has inspired a new crop of masked heroes to step up and defend the city, though their painful inexperience makes them obstacles, rather than allies, in the field. The arrival of a deadly new adversary will force Oliver to confront questions about his own legacy, both as mayor and as the Green Arrow.

Arrow features:
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow
David Ramsey as John Diggle/Spartan
Willa Holland as Thea Queen/Speedy

@tugboy - I agree. I've been hoping for Robert Queen to be him but once Ragman said Prometheus thinks Ollie is the serial killer, I automatically thought of Tommy again

They have to do something with Curtis already...he's just a complete waste at this point. Toughen him up or break out the T-spheres.

@blackandyellow - it' stuff like that...that disqualifies Rotten Tomatoes from being used in any valid arguement about what is or isn't good..or "loved" by critics.

@LordHarryLatts @blackandyellow - maybe if you guys were smarter and understood that RT works differently for TV shows than it does movies.

RT is fundamentally inaccurate for TV shows cause it only COMPILES review for the FIRST COUPLE episodes of season, not all of it. So for that first season, 96% of the critics who reviewed liked it, while for those first seven episodes only 86% of the critics who reviewed DD liked it.

It is different for movies. RT for movies work because obviously critics watch the entire movie.

Don't get mad at RT for giving movies a low RT score. THEY DON'T ASSIGN THE SCORE. That number is simply the percentage of reviews that gave the movie a positive review out of all the reviews it has COLLECTED.

It compiles movie reviews. You can take down RT, but that won't change the large number of critics who didn't like BvS.

I like that Arrow has improved this season.
Flash is down a bit. Last season, too.
I have to say that AoS is the best CBTV show right now (last season and this season). This season is just killing it!
