Prometheus Makes His Move In ARROW Season 5, Episode 9 Synopsis; "What We Leave Behind"

Season five of Arrow recently teased us with the possibility that the Deputy Mayor is secretly Prometheus, but with Quentin Lance now safely tucked away in rehab, his identity is back to being a mystery. One thing we do know after this week's instalment of The CW series is that Artemis has betrayed Oliver and Team Arrow, though her relationship with the villain is unclear for the time being.

The synopsis below confirms that Prometheus has learned the secret identities of the entire team of vigilantes, and it sounds like we'll be getting a major clue about who he is behind the mask here too. Is he connected to the Bratva or will the fan theories about him being Tommy Merlyn be confirmed? We'll have to wait and see, but be sure to weigh in with your theories in the comments section.

PROMETHEUS MAKES A DEADLY MOVE AGAINST OLIVER AND THE TEAM — After Prometheus attacks Curtis (Echo Kellum), Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes Prometheus knows all of Team Arrow’s secret identities and is planning to come for them one by one. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Detective Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) discover a clue that links Prometheus to Oliver’s past. Antonio Negret directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Beth Schwartz.

Prometheus is probably Oliver's Bratva friend. I'm guessing that after he learns about the deal, he betrays them or something.

Reverse Flash, The Dark Archer, Prometheus...

This whole villain-mystery thing is getting old.

I think Artemis should make that red dress her permanent costume.

I still hope that Prometheus is somehow Robert Queen. His costume compared to Olivers original in S1 compares the same way Thomas Wayne's bat suit compares to Bruce's.

Still haven't seen Arrow season 5 i wish there was a way to watch it without having Sky. Buts its great to hear Arrow is back on top form. And season 5 is great. I loved season 1 and 2. Can't wait to watch it Prometheus looks interesting it would be cool if it was Roy Harper as a kind of Red Hood character. But Tommy coming back would be great to see. Hope Deathstroke returns at some point too. Manu was great as Slade

Star Trek DS9 already used that episode title. Try again, Arrow.
