'The Arrow' Has A Proposal For 'Felicity' In First ARROW, Season 3, Episode 1 Clip; "The Calm"

In the first clip from Wednesday's season three premiere of Arrow, Oliver Queen heads into action as The Arrow and has a very enticing proposal for Felicity (who's had to take a second job since Queen Consolidated collapsed). Are wedding bells a'ringing? Not exactly...

OLIVER SEARCHES FOR AN IDENTITY BEYOND THE ARROW — With crime in Starling City at an all-time low thanks to the Arrow (Stephen Amell) and his team, Oliver thinks he can finally balance being both the Arrow and Oliver Queen and asks Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) out on a date. However, when a new villain (guest star Peter Stormare) emerges, who has claimed the name Vertigo from the recently deceased Count, Oliver is caught off-guard and someone close to him is hurt. Oliver and a newly suited up Roy (Colton Haynes) take on the Count. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) becomes a father, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) is promoted to Captain, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) joins Arrow’s inner circle and Felicity gets a part-time job at a tech store to make ends meet. Also, Oliver fights to regain his company, Queen Consolidated, but comes up against a very worthy opponent – the charming Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh). Glen Winter directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Jake Coburn.

Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne, and John Barrowman, Arrow will air on Wednesdays at 8pm ET/PT on The CW with season three set to premiere on October 8th. Are you guys excited?

Not really smart to position your computer so everybody and their mother can see what you're doing. AND it's not smart to speak as loud as possible when you're trying to be secretive.

There is only one Felicity.

And she is too hot for words.

I hope to god that they kill Felicity this year.

This is so unrealistic. I am in IT and there is no way I would work in place like that and with her resume there is no way she would either.

The chances of Felicity getting killed this year are equal to the chances of a god existing, so have fun with that.

So what you're saying is that Felicity will die?

No, Jilly. I am not. In a related story, there's also no Santa Claus or Tooth Fairy.

Oh look they are trying to be witty, almost like they are a real show instead of a crappy soap opera. Score kinda sounds like the WS even the like I'm multitasking is said in the same way...

@Smartass I would say the chances are pretty good. If they continue to do one major death per season the logical person for that would be Felicity. It would be more shocking to audiences than the death of his mom.

Dmon, you can believe whatever you like. Logic says that the second most popular character isn't going to be killed off unless circumstances force them to. Sara and her father are the two likeliest to die, IMHO, as Laurel journeys toward becoming Black Canary.

@Dmon, I work in IT as well. But I'm not a fictional character. Neither are you.

Also, it's more realistic to hold down an easy BS job when shes got bigger things to worry about. Like her "other" job that requires a lot more commitment.
Dmon
Dmon - 10/3/2014, 12:06 PM
@gdot With her resume she could pick her own hours, be an I.T. Director, hell even work an IT job remotely from home. That kind of job she has right there has shitty hours it's usually not a Mon-Fri 8-5 job. She probably has to work nights and weekends now that is why she is shown there at night having to help Ollie from work. I would say the scene shown above shows that this job interferes with her "other" job. Not to mention it don't pay squat.

What would be awesome is a show about IT guys talking about their everyday jobs. On second thought, that's what this thread is becoming and it sucks.

@Smartass Actually that is just my day-job I am also a Process Server and part-time P.I. Also there was a British show like that it was called The I.T. Crowd it was pretty good they have it on Netflix.

GTFO with that. I'd rather watch a 37 part documentary on history of barbed wire hosted by Fran Drescher and Kristen Chenoweth.

Well, after watching that clip, let's make it 48 parts and include the guy that does the Carvel Ice Cream commercials and a peacock caught in a steel trap.

it aint about it guys talking about their jobs. its ppl overanalyzing and poking holes in a fictional world. holy crap! the show needs conflict, trials and downfalls for the characters to be relatable. but ole turdy Dmon here wants to compare it to his life
newb
newb - 10/4/2014, 8:43 AM
someone just feels the need to make himself feel smarter than the show. if the show was based on real life, it'll be boring as hell
