BATWOMAN And Sophie Grow Close - And Kiss! - In Awesome New "Grinning From Ear To Ear" Stills

The CW has released a new gallery of stills from Batwoman, and Ruby Rose's Caped Crusader finally locks lips with Sophie (Meagan Tandy). This should be a momentous episode, so check them out here...

Batwoman continues to break ground on The CW, and that looks set to continue in the upcoming March 8th instalment. As you can see in the gallery below, Kate Kane (suited up as Gotham City's new Dark Knight) finally kisses Sophie while in costume, something we first caught sight of at the end of this past Sunday's episode much to the excitement of many comic book fans.

That's a big step forward for the genre, and the Arrowverse has beaten the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the punch because their first gay superhero - and first gay kiss - won't be seen until Eternals.

The episode is titled "Grinning From Ear To Ear," and the network has released this description:

AT WHAT COST — Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Luke (Camrus Johnson) are on the trail of a villain targeting social media mavens. Sophie (Meagan Tandy) gets an unexpected visit from her mother, and Mary (Nicole Kang) offers her expertise to assist Kate. Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) is approached to make good on a favor, while Alice (Rachel Skarsten) focuses on her plans for retribution. Michael Blundell directed the episode written by Denise Harkavy (#114). Original airdate 3/8/2020.

The episode with Nocturna was a fun installment. I liked the creepy way she “sucked” the blood from her victims.

The Kate and Alice frenemy relationship keeps escalating, Kate told her some really harmful things but that is good to let her continue her growth as Batwoman while Alice plays with still pulling from the sisterhood thread to make Kate not fully give up on her just to have her join her side.

I would like that they pull a Spider-Man “kiss-reveal” and have now Sophie realize it has always been Kate.

But maybe Mary will find out sooner after she solved the puzzle of clues in the last ep, esp. now that she is going to be in danger by the new villain.

Only Jacob remains still in the dark. I wonder if it will carry into Season 2.

God this show is horrible, actually most CW shows are horrible anymore. I used to love them but time after time they just keep pumping out the same cringy crap, only the costumes change.

Well it’s viewership continues to drop, so I guess it hasn’t hit rock bottom yet.

"That's a big step forward for the genre"

Buffy the Vampire Slayer already took these steps forward for the superhero genre a long time ago.

Batwokeman is steaming pile of shit.

Comparing it with the SJCW shows is like comparing a bucket of sick and a bucket of diarrhoea and asking which one is better.
