We had a pretty good idea that Jefferson Pierce’s daughters would be suiting-up in Black Lightning to join their father in the fight against crime, and that's now been confirmed courtesy of this pretty cool new promo image.
The pic gives us a first glimpse at Nafessa Williams (Code Black, Streets) as Anissa Pierce in full costume as the the heroic Thunder.
Williams also confirmed on Twitter than Thunder would be a lesbian like her comic book counterpart.
Black Lightning premieres Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. (after The Flash) on The CW.
