DOOM PATROL Series Adds ROGUE ONE Star Alan Tudyk As The Villainous Mr. Nobody
The DC Universe's upcoming live-action Doom Patrol series has just found its villain in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story star Alan Tudyk, who has been tasked with portraying Eric Morden, a.k.a. Mr. Nobody.
Deadline is reporting that the DC Universe's Doom Patrol series has cast Primetime Emmy-nominated actor Alan Tudyk as Eric Morden, a.k.a. Mr. Nobody.
The character, who will serve as the primary antagonist for the upcoming freshman season, is being described as follows: "After exposure to unknown experiments by ex-Nazis in post-war Paraguay, the man formerly known as Eric Morden emerges as a living shadow able to drain the sanity of others as the enigmatic, and totally insane, Mr. Nobody."
He joins a growing ensemble that has already added Brendan Fraser (Robotman), Joivan Wade (Cyborg), April Bowlby (Elasti-Woman), and Diane Guerrero (Crazy Jane). Niles Caulder and Negative Man will also feature, but both roles have yet-to-be-cast.
Tudyk recently made a cameo in 20th Century Fox's Deadpool 2 and will be heard next in Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet. His past credits include, but are not limited to, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Firefly, American Dad!, The Tick, Powerless, A Knight's Tale, and I, Robot.
