Another recurring cast member has been promoted to series regular status ahead of Gotham's sophomore season. This time it's Drew Powell, who portays the lovable mobster, 'Butch Gilzean'. Gilzean spent most of Season 1 as Fish Mooney's loyal right-hand-man, but was eventually coerced into the service of Oswald Cobblepot. He'll continue to work for The Penguin for now, after he inherited Gotham's criminal empire at the end of last season.
Powell is the fourth guest star to gain regular status, joining Morena Baccarin ('Lesley Thompkins'), Nicholas D'Agosto ('Harvey Dent') & Chris Chalk ('Lucius Fox'). Season 2 will also mark the arrival of Michael Chiklis as 'GCPD Captain Barnes', Jessica Lucas as 'Tabitha Galavan' (a.k.a. 'Tigress') and James Frain as her brother, 'Theo Galavan'.
