Forget Grodd, The Joker is coming ... to Gotham. Is this demented young man being questioned by Jim Gordon the person that will one day become Batman greatest foe, The Joker? Something tells me Monday's "Blind Fortune Teller" episode will still keep that a mystery. Perhap, you guys/gals can uncover some new clues in this new clip.

Still don't like the idea of forcing Joker into this just to draw in viewers because Joker needs Batman. Some of the greatest comic book villains really only work when they are counterpoints to their arch nemesis. Lex Luther to Superman, Magneto to Prof. X, and Joker to Batman the yang to their yin the light to their dark.

I gave up on this show after the first 2 episodes. Clicked on this article to see if this Joker would somehow help to get me to watch another episode. But seeing as this boring as [frick] clip almost put me to sleep, i'm confident i'm not missing anything worthwhile.....Seriously, where is this damn BvS teaser?

It's called exploring the character further than you know, expanding what you've never seen..........damn, comic nerds are tough to satisfy. Myself, I just love seeing them on as many screens as I can, Marvel or DC......

I'm not going to claim to be an expert on character arcs, but I think something is lost when you explain everything about a character and leave little to the imagination. And I think that's what most people enjoyed about the Joker. I guess what a lot of people are mad about is this show devolving into a constant parade of villains with little to no subtly and having the Joker used to pull in viewers. And there's nothing inherently wrong with liking the show, it's just that some think that it could be better.

This is the 3rd possible Joker sighting in this series the first was in the first or second episode with the comedian the second was in Arkham and now this I won't lie I'm liking this since the Joker has no defined origin and him saying "if I have a past I rather have it be multiple choice" so this works great it keeps you guessing

Except the second he puts on the make-up we will know which actor he is and be able to see which origin is the real origin... so yeah, they messed up if the 'no defined origin' was what they were going for.

Alternatively if the character has not appeared prior, then is a load of pandering trash to get people to watch the show. Wasnt the whole point of Gotham to be about Gordon, not the Batman rogue gallery?

As much as I'm trying to give this show a chance...it's just getting to be too much of a series of "what a small world" moments.

It's as if the writers are so certain that there won't be a season 2 that they are trying to shoe-horn in every single possible member of Batman's Rogues' gallery to hope something will catch fire when really they are just smothering the few embers that is there.

If they had just stuck to Penguin (or another villian...I don't care) and sprinkled in a cameo every 3 episodes instead of forcing us to deal with Riddler, Catwoman, Ivy, Scarecrow (now), hints of Bane (Venom), and so on...I'd be much happier and have a lot less "Oh C'mon!" moments.
