GOTHAM Faces Destruction In This New Trailer For The April 24 Return Episode: "How The Riddler Got His Name"

Jim Gordon, Bruce Wayne and their allies are going to have their hands full when Gotham returns on April 24, as this new promo for "How The Riddler Got his Name" makes it very clear that the city's bad guys are done playing around.

Among others, we see Selena/Catwoman, the Court of Owls, Firefly, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Hugo Strange, Fish Mooney, The Mad Hatter, and, of course, The Riddler. This part of the season may be dubbed, "Heroes Will Rise," but they look to be in pretty short supply here!

Check out the extended trailer below, and let us know if you'll be tuning in to Gotham when it returns in a week's time.

Nygma convinces himself that he doesn’t need Penguin to succeed and begins to introduce himself to Gotham as “The Riddler.” Bullock and Lucius Fox get caught up in Nygma’s mind games, while Gordon learns troubling news about his father’s death. Meanwhile, the Court of the Owls reveals its next move.

@ConnorHawkeye - I literally found the best way to watch this show is to record it and forward through to any scene with bruce and alfred, but if selina is there, I forward through

I wonder if they'll get around the whole "no Batman on tv" thing by making him the first Robin?

I can't stand this show anymore. I liked it at first. But I still haven't missed an episode. But I fast forward through all of them now. Not sure what I'm waiting for, but it hasn't happened yet. Show sucks. When you can fast forward through the whole thing and still not miss any plot details, because there are hardly any, that's just sad.

But bring it on. Me and my fast forward button are waiting.

@WYLEEJAY - I hope they turn Bruce into a masked hero sometime soon, even if he isn't Batman yet. They could possibly make him the Proto-Robin or something.

@PrimitiveMan - What about the Grey Ghost? If I had my ideal way on that though, I'd rather have the Grey Ghost turn up as Gotham's first costumed hero who leaves some dramatic, lasting impression on Bruce.

Still have time to catch up then.

And there's unfortunately nothing more sub-par in DC currently than the DCEU.

@Nightwing1015 - It's definitely the most unpredictable one.

@KWilly - That's definitely one of it's strengths. The plot lines on Arrow and Flash are really predictable now. Gotham also has some of the best acting of all the comic book shows. I don't understand why people love Smallville but dislike this.

This show is more hit and miss than any Nic Cage film of the last ten years. I didn't like the premise but my girl got me to give it a chance. I was only mildly entertained by the first season but then B.D. Wong's simply amazing take on Hugo Strange had me absolutely riveted through the second season. The third season however has been really hard to get through. It's been dull and even outright stupid at times. Unfortunately, if things don't pick up soon I may just give up on Gotham.
