The second half of season 1 is much better than the first half so far. I hope they do a good job with Scarecrow next week. I want to see Penguin kill Fish Mooney.

@Nomis
Doubtful. It's most likely Gerald Crane/Scarecrow, who is supposed to be the villain in the next 2 episodes.

Like I said last week Fish is sexy as hell, but Jada Pinkett over acts a little too much for my liking

Pretty good episode, though what was that guy begging Gordon to not do at the end?

I really wanted Flass and Bullock to face off. I always viewed Flass as a Bullock knock-off.

The guy thought Gordon was corrupt and that he was in charge of the people who kidnapped his wife.

Ah, thanks guys.

Also, was anyone else hoping for Penguin to say Iceberg Lounge?

Can a police force be this corrupt? Not even in the comics did it seem this corrupt while other good cops sit around and do nothing. Not to mention just how many times is Sarah Ellen going to flip flop on her stance against the corruption. Jesus, I like the show but they tend to go a little overboard on some aspects.

"Also, was anyone else hoping for Penguin to say Iceberg Lounge?"

I didn't even realise that the club could be an origin story for the Iceberg Lounge. I'll have to remember that if I ever re-watch the episode and when I'm watching future episodes.

You bet!

Pretty decent episode. My favorite part was Gordon realizing the cost of doing business with the penguin. I love that nothing is ethically clean cut in Gotham.

@TonyChu: "Can a police force be this corrupt?"

Is that a rhetorical question? You do live in America, correct? You do know it's history, correct? If you're not over 40, then you've at least seen Eyes on the Prize and know what the Civil Rights Movement was about, right?

Gordon, Penguin and Victor are the best characters on the show by far.
