Gotham is an American crime television series developed by Bruno Heller, based on characters appearing in and published by DC Comics in their Batman franchise, primarily those of James Gordon and Bruce Wayne. Constantine is an American television series developed by Daniel Cerone and David S. Goyer for NBC, based on characters appearing in the comic series Hellblazer published by DC Comics under their Vertigo imprint. Matt Ryan stars as John Constantine. The series premiered on October 24, 2014. The first season will consist of 13 episodes, with a second season remaining a possibility.
