Gotham is moving to Thursday nights when it returns on September 21st and FOX is promoting that with a brand new promo trailer featuring David Mazouz's Bruce Wayne finally suited up to fight crime. This was a moment we all assumed was being saved for the series finale but he's clearly ready to become Batman and is just missing the bat themed attire at this early stage in his crime-fighting career.

The trailer also features a nod to Batman: The Animated Series as we see Bruce standing atop a rooftop in a manner very similar to the cartoon version of the Caped Crusader. That does look pretty cool!

The show sadly does not as reviews remain tepid and changes are made to the source material which constantly
seem to rile fans. The trailer also sees the debut of a new Scarecrow so there's definitely a lot of very interesting changes being made to the series; whether or not that will be enough to win over sceptics remains to be seen. For now, let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
