Could Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos) not be who he says he is? That's what the promo for next week's episode seems to imply as we hear a voice tell Seg-El that he has no idea who the real enemy is before it cuts to a shot of Seg's time-traveling ally. Meanwhile, a resistance movement will begin to form as the city attempts to impede the Voice of Rao's increasing power and influence of its people.

Watch the new promo for episode eight, titled "Savage Night," below:

KRYPTON "Savage Night" - 10/9c

A resistance movement begins to form to impede the Voice of Rao's increasing power and influence.

Set two generations before Superman ever heads to Earth, Krypton follows Kal-El’s grandfather (played by Cameron Cuffe) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos. Along with Cuffe, the show stars Georgina Campbell (Broadchurch), Elliot Cowan (Da Vinci’s Demons), Ann Ogbomo (World War Z), Rasmus Hardiker (Your Highness), Wallis Day (Will), Aaron Pierre (Tennison) and Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones).

Krypton features:

Aaron Pierre as Dev-Em
Rasmus Hardiker as Kem

(My Superman lore isn’t up to speed)

But we know what MUST happen right?
If Kandor doesn’t end up in a bottle, krypton never becomes unstable
kal and Kara never goto earth, Zod + co never escape the phantom zone.
Just by Zod’s presence alone as “Superman’s greatest enemy”
Means he escaped the PS to earth.

Then again, time travel always allows for anything goes.
And as I understand it, Superman 1000 Introduced the “Real”
Villain to destroyed Krypton

@djjoshuacarl - And thats the intriguing part to me. Adam Strange ultimately knows that Krypton must be destroyed in order for Superman to come to Earth and be the universe's greatest hero. Seg knowing this has to pretty much make the choice to either save his planet or allow it to blow up and create Superman.

Zod adds another element to this as well. Everyone initially thought Brainiac was the one who traveled back in time to stop Superman from being born. What if it was Zod? If he gets his way, he saves his planet AND his greatest enemy never exists (or at least doesnt get his powers).

This show sounded like a bad idea from the get-go.

The show is actually getting more interesting now, with all these twists, especially the recent one with Zod.

Seg has to basically let Kandor get bottled up AND let Krypton be destroyed.
As of right now, he won't make that choice and no one can blame him.
It's gonna be hard to justify that tbh.

The pace of this show is fantastic. They don't really linger on nonsense drama like some of the CW shows like to. I'm surprisingly entertained.

What’s funny is, Seg could make a deal with Adam.
They will STOP brainiac, and when his grandson is born he will STILL
Send him to earth.

Everyone wins.
(Cept maybe Jor-el and co)

And to really twist that blade, that Kal could be flashpoint
Superman... that would be wild.
Ie, any incident that doesn’t end with him landing on
The Kent farm, he goes left.

Show is actually getting better with each episode. Not every show can and has to hit the home run from very first episode and keep running all the way to finale.
