LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Adds Ali Liebert As A Love Interest For Caity Lotz's 'White Canary'

Well, Nyssa isn't going to be happy about this. The CW has announced that they've cast Fringe actress Ali Liebert as a potential love interest for Caity Lotz's Sara Lance a.k.a. the White Canary. Come check it out to find out who she's playing and more now!

Here's a cool Christmas scoop for ya: Entertainment Weekly has learned that the CW has cast Ali Liebert (Kyle XY; Fringe) as Lindsy Carlisle. Her character is being eyed as a potential love interest for Caity Lotz's Sara Lance, which will seemingly drive a stake through her relationship with Katrina Law's Nyssa al-Ghul. Carlisle has been described as "a soft-spoken, intelligent lady who is the ideal picture of 1950s womanhood. Although she might seem at home amongst the strict morals of the time, she harbors a dark secret: she’s a lesbian. Confused and scared, it seems she is doomed to suffer alone in a backwards time … until she falls for a girl from the future, Sara Lance."

It's unclear when Liebert will make her season debut, but when she does, she'll walk into Sara's life just when the troubled hero needs her most. "When Sara first meets Lindsay Carlisle, she finds herself in the position of caring about someone for the first time in forever — an idea she’s not entirely sure she’s ready for. It’s easy for our cold hearted assassin to kill a hundred people, but does she have the ability to care about one?"

So, what do you guys think? Sound off with your thoughts below!

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The Atom
Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein/Firestorm
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Arthur Darvil as Rip Hunter
Ciara Renée as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl
Franz Drameh as Jay Jackson
Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave
Falk Hentschel as Carter Hall/Hawkman
Casper Crump as Vandal Savage

Legends Of Tomorrow premieres January 21, 2016

@xombygod

What the hell are you talking about?

You make no sense. This is a very natural gay character portrayal. It's not like Sara is even based on a straight female character. She is an original character so her being gay is an element of her character. It's not P.C. for a character to naturally be gay. You seriously need help.

She's not gay, she's bi which means she's attracted to both sexes.Even if she got married and was faithful to her husband or wife she would still be considered bi right? I can't see this lasting long as Liebert's character comes from the 50's and Sara is from the future. It could mess up the time line if something happened. Of course if they have sex (which I'm sure the CW will not show) then I doubt it wouldn't change anything as neither can't get pregnant from one another because well obviously.

I thought she was bi, was I wrong? I personally liked her relationship with Oliver the best. Out of Felicity, Sara and Laurel, I thought Sara and Oliver were the best.

@Crabnado Accusing him of seeking attention, then giving it to him. lol

At any rate, this right here is why these DC shows would've been better off not being on CW. They're too "relationship angst" focused. People don't read comic books to find out if Betty and Bruce made up/knocked boots/developed a crush. We don't care. As of now we have 2 weird love triangles on Flash, a love....square? in Arrow, 3 failed marriages, 2 sexually confused teenagers, and a grown man hiding out in a huge cave with a bunch of dudes dressed like ninjas, who by all rights should be the only person in this show with legit raging hormones at this juncture, but somehow hasn't had a single relationship since his wife died almost 2 decades ago. All that and I didn't even mention what's going on in Supergirl...mainly because I don't watch it but still...

I love the DC TV-verse, but wow...please stop trying to make it a Nicholas Sparks novel and get back to The Flash taking out Captain Cold.

On a side note...this is why I had a preference for Constantine. None of this crap going on, just great comic book-esque type stories each episode. More of that immediately, please!

If you don't like how shows are making characters gay/bi, simply don't watch it.
It's that simple.

Can we please just go back to the 50s when everyone just openly hated gays and blacks? It must have been such a pleasant, lovely time.

@Crabnado A "good number"? What number? 5, 80, 2,000? Out of how many people who buy and read comics? Any idea what that number is and why it matters? Of course you don't. If you did you wouldn't have just committed intellectual suicide just now. Gonna throw you some logic here. CW didn't browse the internet, find your forum you frequent(or know of or whatever) and say "hmm I bet these guys would love a mulit-million dollar show based off of a multi-million dollar IP, based on their fan-fics". I mean tell yourself that they made the show just for you and your friends, I don't really care, just don't try to sell it to anyone with an IQ higher than 5, they aren't gonna believe it. lol

I'm truly glad that we live in a time of acceptance,I lost my best friend due to hatred and intolerance toward him being gay in 1997,so I've seen that narrow minded nonsense firsthand

Gay seems more like a fad then a way of life like it's caught on and became popular that's what bothers me. Like a show can't be good with or without it now it would be better if they were referred to as people no one care if they are gay but they should not change a characters characteristics just make a new character shoulda made digger Gay if anyone. My uncle is Gay and that is fine just no need to screen Gay pride like a Gay day parade which is stupid in its self. You don't see straight people celebrating straightness. Or Japanese people or Russians having a pride day. The sooner people stop and put the little trivial stuff aside the sooner we can focus on somthing important.
