LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Enlists SLEEPY HOLLOW & ELEMENTARY Alum John Noble As The Voice Of Mallus

Entertainment Weekly has learned that John Noble has joined the cast of Legends of Tomorrow season three as the voice of the villainous Mallus and that he'll make his series debut during tonight's episode.

It's uncertain whether we'll actually see him, but EW does confirm that Noble's voice will be heard tonight as we learn more about the mysterious villain and the threat he poses to our heroes. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim offered this tease following the announcement. “That’s the big mythology of the season and what makes Mallus cool at this stage of everyone’s viewing experience is that right now he is just a name and is this whisper. You’ll learn more about him in [episode] 305.

So, what do you guys think? Sound off with your thoughts below!

"Return of the Mack" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)

HELPING ONE OF THEIR OWN - When Nate (Nick Zano) thinks he has found a pattern to the anachronisms, it leads the Legends to London in 1897 to hunt down a time-traveling vampire. When they arrive in London, they run into Rip (guest star Arthur Darvill), but not everyone welcomes him back so quickly, leaving Sara (Caity Lotz) to make a tough choice in the end. Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) tries to connect with Zari (Tala Ashe), but she is still struggling with being part of the team. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) discovers what Ray (Brandon Routh) and Jax (Franz Drameh) are up to and is not entirely pleased. Dominic Purcell also stars. Alexandra La Roche directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Morgan Faust (#305). Original airdate 11/07/2017.

After defeating the Legion of Doom, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow face a new existential threat created by their actions at the end of last season. By revisiting a moment in time they’d already participated in, they’ve essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms all across time! Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. But before our Legends can jump back into action, Rip Hunter and his newly established Time Bureau call their methods into question and disband the team. Challenging the Time Bureau’s authority, they recruit a hacker from the future, Zari Tomaz and continue their time travelling shenanigans, while insisting that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein/Firestorm
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson/Firestorm
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen
Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Citizen Steel
Amy Pemberton as Gideon
Tala Ashe as Zari Adrianna Tomaz
Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter
Tracy Ifeachor as Kuasa
Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold
Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk
Courtney Ford as Eleanor Darhk

Is Mallus an original character for this show that is being set up as the Season's big bad or is he from the comics?

Really gotta catch up...

Sleepy Hollow? Elementary? Why not use "Lord of the Rings" or "Fringe" or even "Arkham Knight"...

Love him in pretty much everything he is in. He's fantastic in Fringe. It'll be good to have him on the show.

How will that Fox deal affect Legion if it goes through

@Kevwebsz - Legion is co-produced by Marvel, but I imagine that if Marvel Studios got ahold of the rights, they'd want to do a full reboot but I could see some shows/movies that occupy their own pocket universe (such as Legion and Deadpool) being allowed to continue.
