After some of the Legends are captured and thrown into a Russian gulag during the height of the Cold War of 1986, Snart (Wentworth Miller) leads the team in an elaborate escape plan to free their comrades. However, Rip (Arthur Darvill) gives Sara (Caity Lotz) a secret side mission that could prove not only to be a liability, but fatal to the team. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Grainne Godfree (#105).

Looks like Valentina is going to be this show's version of Firehawk/Mikhail Arkadin, which is nice. I still find it funny that almost all of Firestorm's rogues gallery have appeared in the Flarrow verse, but the only one to make it to the big screen is Slipknot

Casting Victor Garber in the CWverse was one of the best things they could ever have done, especially for the character of Firestorm. His scene with Jefferson after the ambush in the forest, and then his confession to Ray afterwards was very well done.

Holy shit Stein and Ray were 2 of my favorite characters this episode.
Stein's anger felt so real.
Also Heatwave and Captain Cold don't always click for me.
Also Vandal Savage needs to do something important that isn't killing the worst character on the team.
Hawkgirl got hella mad though.
Sara and her better kiss or bang or some shit.
Not really into the whole Time Master story arc.
Also was Ray in his suit at all this episode?
Damn.
This episode gets an 8/10 from me.
Of course this is comparing to the last 3 episodes (none of them got above 8 from me but iz ok)

Joking aside, you can't deny that Snart and Stein actually got things moving and really saved the mission from being a total flop.

This episode tore apart the team and I am actually surprised.

I can't wait to just see even the promo for episode 6 Star City 2046 and hopefully get good promo pictures of Dark Knight Oliver Queen and Connor Hawke next week.
