As we inch closer to the seventh season premiere, The CW has released a poster offering a look at Matt Ryan's mysterious new character Gwyn Davies, who may hold the key to getting the Legends home.

With DC's Legends of Tomorrow set to return in a little under two weeks, The CW has shared the first official poster for season seven. The artwork offers a sneak peek at the team getting acclimated to their new predicament in the 1920s, which, as we already know, is going to result in some Bonnie & Clyde-esque shenanigans.

The poster also gives us our first real look at Matt Ryan in his new role as Dr. Gwyn Davies, who the Legends will seek out in the first half of the season as they try to get back to the Waverider and their proper timeline.

There isn't much else to go on just yet, but it looks like the crew will be staying put in 1925 for at least a few episodes, meaning we may not be getting as many time-jump shenanigans as we've typically come to expect.

Plus, in case you missed them, check out new stills for the season seven premiere, titled "The Bullet Blondes," below:

"The Bullet Blondes" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

COMFORT ZONE - After defeating the aliens and saving Earth, the Legends find themselves stranded in 1925 Odessa, Texas with a destroyed Waverider. Wanting to help fix things, Astra (Olivia Swann) tries using her powers, which creates unwanted attention from the town and that of the new Director of the Bureau of Investigation, J. Edgar Hoover, and a surprise no one expected. Realizing they need to escape, Sara (Caity Lotz) and Ava (Jes Macallan) create a distraction by going on a crime spree with Hoover hot on their tails. Meanwhile, Zari (Tala Ashe) is finding it hard to get over Constantine, so Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) suggests the only thing he knows that can help. Nick Zano, Adam Tsekham, Lisseth Chavez and Amy Pemberton also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by James Eagan & Ray Utarnachitt (#701). Original airdate 10/13/2021.

This show looks crazy compared to when I stopped watching around season 2. Question is though, did I really miss anything? Looks fun, but thats pretty much it for me (although I could be wrong ofcourse)

@bkmeijer - The show isn't afraid to do crazy, zany stuff given their time travel formula so there are plenty of fun things that happen later. My one and still continous issue is how it no longer feels like a DC show and the fact that we never get back the sense of tension or just urgency from the first 3 Seasons.

However this 7th Season is supposed to finally reach it's 100th episode so that alone is something to watch out for IMO.
