After losing one of their own in the "Crisis on Earth-X" crossover, the Legends must attempt to regroup in next week's episode when they reencounter Damien Darhk, who has a nasty new trick up his sleeve. The team will also attempt to stop the Vikings from taking over the world.

Meanwhile, a reeling Jax will attempt something that could potentially change the course of history as we know it and if this new promo is any indicator, it could actually change his entire life as a Legend.

Watch the new promo for episode nine, titled "Beebo the God of War," below:

"Beebo the God of War" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

FOLLOW YOUR HEART - Rattled by recent events, the Legends dive into work which finds them investigating an Anachronism in a Viking settlement in the New World. The Legends realize that the Norsemen are worshipping an artifact as their god and are surprised by the artifact's origin. For the first time, Sara (Caity Lotz) is worried that they might need back up when Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) shows up. Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) finds a loophole that could potentially change history, but it is a risk he is willing to take. Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Maisie Richadson-Sellers and Dominic Purcell also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & James Eagan (#309). Original airdate 12/05/2017.

After defeating the Legion of Doom, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow face a new existential threat created by their actions at the end of last season. By revisiting a moment in time they’d already participated in, they’ve essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms all across time! Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. But before our Legends can jump back into action, Rip Hunter and his newly established Time Bureau call their methods into question and disband the team. Challenging the Time Bureau’s authority, they recruit a hacker from the future, Zari Tomaz and continue their time travelling shenanigans, while insisting that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein/Firestorm
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson/Firestorm
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen
Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Citizen Steel
Amy Pemberton as Gideon
Tala Ashe as Zari Adrianna Tomaz
Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter
Tracy Ifeachor as Kuasa
Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold
Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk
Courtney Ford as Eleanor Darhk

Legends Of Tomorrow returns with an all-new episode December 5

Once I learned that Garber was leaving i theorized that young stein could be the second half of firestorm. I hope so. Having young stein might be beneficial in terms of having another younger person on the team who can go on missions

@Jorave123 - His grandson, Ronnie.

But yeah, the actor who played 'young Stein' was awesome. It'd probably cause some timey-wimey issues though, but then again, it's not like the Arrowverse cares about timey-wimey issues anyway.

I really liked the new looks of Metallo and Red Tornado is the Crossover. Metallo ended up looking a little comical, but at least the design was way better than the partial human one. And Red Tornado looked about as comic accurate as could be on TV.

Can we just talk about how bad the crossover was? I couldn't stop wincing at all the stupid dialogue and awful fight scenes.

Bad? Jesus [frick]ing Christ, are the nerdos on this site impressed by anything? Crisis on Earth-X was amazing. It's basically the Justice League movie we deserved.

@Fekkius - every bad guy with a machine gun ran at the heroes and tried to hit them with the gun rather than shoot them. All the stupid gay scenes that are totally unnecessary and took away from what was supposed to be all about Barry and Iris's wedding and romance. The Nazis are portrayed as ruthless and murderous but seem to like to keep everyone alive so that they will eventually have enough chances to escape. Sorry, but these shows have been sucking lately.

The only thing I thought was pretty cool was Barry and Iris's daughter being at the wedding from the future. We will see how that plays out in future episodes.

@brilaneb - I don't care about the Snart stuff, but to add to that list...

1. Sarah and Nazi Supergirl going hand to hand for more than 1 second and there's actual competition

2. Iris and Felicity taking out ARMED NAZI SOLDIERS as if they were rank amateurs. At one point, one set of soldiers literally watched Iris move over to the wires and pull them out. And how do electrical wires generate a steady stream of smoke in the correct direction?

3. Speaking of them, why didn't Super Nazi hear Iris and Felicity speaking in the ridiculously over-sized air-duct? Did she really subject herself to the red son rays, just so she could taunt Supergirl?

4. Dr. Martin Stein dying. Pure cringe. I wasn't buying Jax's performance at all. Just let Stein go home to his family. His death was completely unnecessary. They should've killed off that false Colossus. The show is supposed to change heroes every season, right? So much for that.

5. Green Arrow has a kryptonite arrow. How? How does he even know what it does to kryptonians? No explanation. He doesn't have access to Earth 38 (39?) and there's no kryptonians on Earth Prime. The implications of this is that there are. And, yet, no one questions this.

6. The reverse flash says he fought Superman. Which Superman? Are we talking Earth Prime here? Again, no answers.

7. Supergirl punches Green Arrow and he doesn't die. Absolute nonsense.

8. The Reverse Flash doesn't just kill everyone in the room, when Green Arrow is threatening Super Nazi's life. Instead, he super speeds them (Nazi Arrow and Super Nazi) out of there.

9. More than half of the first episode wasted on Days of Our Lives.

10. Felicity co-opting Iris and Barry's wedding day for her own guilty, selfish desires. Now, even I'm starting to hate her.

11. Flying too close to the sun kills kryptonians. *rolls eyes hard*

12. Ice and fire guns not burning and freezing things. Really, this stupidity has got to stop. At one point Snart shoots an ice projectile at a building and the building bursts into flames! WTF? lol.

13. Killer Frost – a killer of what, I don't know – freezes Nazi Arrow's arm and bow. A minute later, it's back to normal.

There's no excuse for this much incompetence. That's not nerds being unimpressed by everything. That's just common sense criticism.

I wouldn't say the crossover was bad, but it wasn't as amazing as some people seem to insist upon.

"The only thing I thought was pretty cool was Barry and Iris's daughter being at the wedding from the future."

Say what? Says who?

@Luminus - I agree with everything you wrote. Unfortunately, these things ruined it for me. The focus on Sarah Lance over the main characters was my biggest problem, probably because they were trying to save $$$ on CGI with the Flash and Supergirl.

Side note, did you catch Barry and Iris's daughter at the wedding? I'm thinking she is a speedster who came back in time to see the wedding.

brilaneb - 11/30/2017, 5:39 AM
@Luminus - That girl who was serving drinks and grabbed his arm and said she was honored to be at the wedding. She looks mixed and the way she looked at Barry looked like a daughter looking up to her father. Rewatch that scene if you can and let me know what you think.

Luminus - 11/30/2017, 5:59 AM
@brilaneb - I caught that scene. I was wondering what it was about. I don't know their daughter.

"The focus on Sarah Lance over the main characters was my biggest problem"

Sara IS a main character tho. She's the captain of the Legends.

@Fekkius - Ok, you have Supergirl, Green Arrow, and the Flash and you put Sarah Lance in the same category? Legends of Tomorrow just needs to go away or get better. The first season was ok, but it just got silly and boring after that. And her character/acting is horrendous.
Fekkius
Fekkius - 12/3/2017, 12:18 AM
@brilaneb
It's a show about time travelling superheroes. Why shouldn't it be silly and fun? And yes, I'd put the Arrowverse's remaining version of Black Canary in the same category as Supergirl, Green Arrow, and Flash. Also the first season of Legends was easily the weakest, season two was when it hit it's stride.
