New Promotional Stills From The LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 1 Finale: "Legendary"
After a season of sacrifices, the Legends are ready for a final showdown with Savage, but they must also overcome their personal demons when they find themselves back in present day Central City.
After a bumpy start, DC's Legends of Tomorrow managed to find its stride and secured itself a second season, but before they can get to those adventures, they'll have to finish off Vandal Savage, which has proven to be easier said than done. Plus, the episode will also feature Sara learning about Laurel's controversial fate and the appearance of a popular DC Comics hero that'll set up next season. Check out seventeen new stills from the season finale below:
THE FINAL BATTLE – After the numerous sacrifices the team has made since the beginning of this ride, Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides that it’s time they each decide their own destiny and returns them to Central City a few months after they first left. Returned to their normal lives, each team member must individually decide if they are willing to sacrifice everything in order to save the world. Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) visits with her father (guest star Paul Blackthorne) who delivers some heartbreaking news about her sister. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Chris Fedak and teleplay by Phil Klemmer & Marc Guggenheim (#116).

Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself.
