A full trailer for Pennyworth is now online, and after those brief teaser promos this gives us much better idea of what to expect from Epix's upcoming 10-part series.

Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon) is a former SAS operative who who forms a security company with a young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge) in 1960s London. Unfortunately, a mysterious villain named Bet Sykes (Paloma Faith) takes issue with their new venture, and kidnaps Alfred's new lady friend Martha (Emma Paetz).

Yes, it looks like we might have a bit of a love triangle on our hands.

If this wasn't about Alfred I'd be kind of interested. Looks like a Man from UNCLE-esque show about spies and cults and the production value all looks quite good... but why the [frick] does it have to be about Batman's butler haha.

Because if it was a spy thriller titled “Patterson” no one would give it the time of day.
Brand Recogntion and Nostalgia and Familair Things is what the mob wants.

Really don't see the point of this show. Any good Alfred stories could've been told by Heller on Gotham as flashbacks. Would've been pretty interesting really.

I don't see this getting a second season.

@DENNISsystem - it does look fun. But at the same time, this could have just been a fun spy show in the vein of man from uncle. It really didnt need to be a batman prequel.
