Casting news for The CW's upcoming Superman and Lois Arrowverse spinoff has been coming in on the regular these past couple of weeks, and we now have a first look at the show's official title treatment.

The logo was released along with the official Superman and Lois Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts, so be sure to give them a follow for updates. It's pretty basic (there's no sign of The Man of Steel's iconic emblem, for a start), but there's always a chance that it's simply a placeholder.

This new series will be a little different to previous Supes-centric shows, as the story will focus on Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) raising a family and dealing with the "stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society."

Former Flash showrunner Helbing will executive produce Superman & Lois with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Geoff Johns via Berlanti Productions. The show will go straight to series (13 episodes), and production is expected to get underway as soon as it's safe to do so.

Are you guys looking forward to this one? What do you make of Chriqui's casting? Let us know in the usual place.

can we stop with the cringe worth dc shows on teenage drama cable channels? [frick] how hard is to get something legitimate with these kind of insane properties? is the dc animated stuff the only good stuff they are putting out now?
