AQUAMAN Star Michael Beach To Play The Villainous Nathan Ellery In The DC Universe's SWAMP THING
With its first episode set to premiere later this week, it has now been revealed that Michael Beach (Aquaman) will reunite with James Wan for a recurring role in the highly anticipated Swamp Thing series.
The DC Universe's live-action Swamp Thing series is set to premiere this Friday, and ahead of the character's small screen debut, a new report reveals Aquaman star Michael Beach will have a recurring role on the show.
According to Deadline, Beach will be portraying Nathan Ellery, "a no-nonsense businessman with a ruthless streak." Of course, as fans of the comics may know, Ellery is also known for being the man who ordered the death of Alec Holland, which in turn led to the creation of Swamp Thing.
Like his Swamp Thing co-star Crystal Reed, who previously appeared on Gotham, Beach already has experience portraying a DC Comics character, as he previously played Black Manta's father in James Wan's Aquaman.
Swamp Thing, which will premiere on the DC Universe streaming service on May 31, boasts an impressive cast that includes the likes of Andy Bean, Derek Mears, Jennifer Beals, Crystal Reed, and Will Patton.
