Bloodwork Actor Sendhil Ramamurthy Reveals What It's Like To Star On THE FLASH

New villain/potential ally Bloodwork has been an interesting addition to Season 6 of The Flash.

Portrayed by Actor/Tennis Player Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes, The Office), Bloodwork boasts a power set that almost appears Venom-like on screen - but we won't spoil any of this season for you if you haven't seen it.

Ramamurthy recently spoke to CBS Local about his time in the Arrowverse so far and he definitely seems to love where he is.

“I got this and my kids said finally you are doing something good. This is the only thing I’ve done that they’ve watched. They love The Flash and all of the guys from The Flash were great to them.

Working with this cast has been unbelievable. I really clicked with Grant [Gustin] and obviously the bulk of my stuff is with Grant and Danielle [Panabaker]. Working with those two has been amazing. This is season six now and a lot of people could check out. Everybody is fighting to make it the best it can possibly be. Six seasons in, it’s still the number one rated show on the network.”

This is the only thing his kids care about? Yikes, let's hope they were too young to watch Heroes!

“The biggest surprise by far is that this show has such a powerful emotional core. As Barry’s death is coming and everyone knows that it’s imminent, I think in this season in particular it has been a presence in everything. You’ve known this has been coming for a long time and now it’s finally here. I think people are freaking out. I know what happens and they should freak out.”

Obviously Ramamurthy is referring to the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths event which will span all of the CW DC shows - Arrow, Black Lightning, The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow - along with newcomer Stargirl, fan-favorite Smallville, the Donner-Universe Superman Returns film, and much more.

What do you think of Ramamurthy's comments? Check out the full interview in the video for yourself below!

The Flash returns tonight on CW for the midseason finale before Crisis on Infinite Earths finally arrives.
