We got our first brief look at some footage from the Supergirl/The Flash musical crossover episode early this morning, and now The CW has released a few promo stills for you guys to take a look at.

"Duet" will see Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist reunite with their former Glee cast-mate Darren Criss, who will be playing the villainous Music Meister. Though he's not in the colourful getup he sported in Batman: The Brave and The Bold, you can get your first official glimpse of the character below.

DARREN CRISS (“GLEE”) GUEST STARS AS THE MUSIC MEISTER IN THE FLASH AND SUPERGIRL MUSICAL CROSSOVER –

Barry (Grant Gustin) and team are surprised when Mon- El (guest star Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (guest star David Harewood) arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) who was whammied by the Music Meister (guest star Darren Criss). Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her. However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can’t cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end.

That last picture with Joe and Iris and Stein is great. Candice Patton looks amazing with that hairstyle.

The Music Meister brings the song that everyone needs to hear. (Is that how it was? :P)

This gonna be fun.

@NinnesMBC - Wally looks like he was kicked out of a lowrider convention, don't like his new look. Also I think that savitar is manifesting himself in Wally, since he knows that the future will change because of wally

@ConnorHawkeye - He let his hair grow so that it fills in the open space of his cowl and feels all that breeze when he's running, it's a nod to how in the comics his hair always was exposed, etc. They wanted to do that with him since he's still in his Kid Flash days. (And before I read any "he isn't even a kid" response it's Kid Flash due to how he behaves when he is in the suit, cocky, taunting and having fun)

It's a possibility. I've read he could use him as a husk. Until tonight ep airs I think they will use the part of Savitar's blade that stabbed Barry in the pics to vibe it and try to get some answers about Savitar.

I know I make fun of these shows, and still watch them in the background when I'm cooking, or cleaning, or doing paperwork or whatever...but these shark jumping musical episodes? Nah.

Stupid, pandering, and for the dumber people who watch these already dumb shows
