In addition to the 4-show crossover between The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, The CW announced that a special musical crossover of The Flash and Supergirl would occur during the back-half of the upcoming season of DCTV shows.  Well just a day later, The Hashtag Show is reporting that the director of the crossover is none other than Joss Whedon.

Given Whedon's history with the Buffy musical - Once More, With Feeling and Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, Whedon is definitely a natural fit for such a crossover. Oh.. and he also directed some film called The Avengers and its sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron.  Now if only Warner Bros. could get Whedon into the DCEu somehow...

Consider this a rumor for now but The Hashtag Show, while infrequent scoopers, have a pretty good track record going all the way back to their reveal that Finn Jones would play Danny Rand in Marvel's Iron Fist.
