The Scarlet Speedster teamed up with Supergirl for tonight's musical crossover episode, but next week's installment of The Flash will be song-free as the team takes on the magical Abra Kadabra, who looks to be a fairly formidable foe.

This new villain will be played by David Dastmalchian, who has also popped up in the likes of The Dark Knight and Ant-Man.

Check out the promo below, and let us know what you thought about tonight's episode in the usual place.

Tonight episode of Legends of Tomorrow was fantastic! Especially when compared to the horrible musical.

When they established the whole "we can't visit the Crucifixion" with some logical rules, I was left utterly impressed. They did it with class, and without any mistakes that may lead to controversy.

@Kr08 - Certain places in time, man should never interfere! It's forbidden. IT'S SACRED!

Plus I didn't bother watching that horrible musical.

Let's see, Melissa Benoist thinks Supergirl is a sitcom.

In every Supergirl/Flash crossover Gustin takes Barry out of character and makes Barry a sitcom character to match Benoist's cutesy Supergirl.

Cisco can solve anything with an all powerful vibe.

Zero tension in the episode.

Some great snow wasted.

And romance problems and breakups can be fixed by putting an ex's life in danger and forcing the other ex to save them.

A script so embarrassingly bad it diminished every character in it to mindless pap like those seen in shows for tots.

@ManDeth - they can't write... at all

@AdamWarlockHim - I don't think they've even realized Barry saving his mother was correcting time, since Reverse Flash changed it. They have no comprehension about the things they attempt to write about.

When genre TV starts insulting it's audience with silly garbage like 'Duet', it's time to end it.

@ManDeth - @AdamWarlockHim @2013venjix This show is what it is, i dont understand why the fanbase is so stupid, if you know what this is then why are seeking something more?

I love filmaking and TV, but if something they teach me in Film School is that TV is all about money and profit. If you put together a Genre and TV in the same word, you cant expect anything good.

An example is Agents of Shield or Gotham and i dont care whatever you say, that is mediocre tv.

Another example is Daredevil S1 or Jessica Jones that is great "TV" (just isnt tv it is Netflix pay per view).

So my point in here, is that this tv shows are what they are, in both TV and movie bussines there are guilty pleasures and The Flash is a guilty pleasure. The people need to stop complaining and understand it.

The CW needs content and The Flash is content and makes the same number of views that one video of Pewdiepie or ElRubius in youtube, even the Rubius makes like 6 millions views while The Flash almost 3 millions.

This show is what it is, it is sad one of the best Genre tv series got this formulaic and simple but what can i tell you, that happens when the writers becomes Executive Producers and Showrunners, i really do hate tv bussines.

@ManDeth - Something this show dont seens to understand or anyone who watch it, is that there are multiple timelines...

This show happens in an alternative timeline, you know Barry created Flashpoint right?

Then all this show, all this CW bullshit is the Universe of Eobardpoint or Thawnepoint or Reversepoint or call it whatever you want.

Because this is an alternative timeline wich Eobard created by accident, that was the evil plan of Eobard in S1, that if this version of Barry saved his mother he was going to be erased from the timeline along all this universe, because the Original Timeline where Barry is blonde and Iris is white was going to take over this another one.

The people never seens to understand that little detail, that there are 2 main timelines:

-ORIGINAL TIMELINE

-CW THE FLASH TIMELINE

We have never meet or will meet the original Flash, we will always watch a copy of the original, an unexperienced and funny copy of the original Barry Allen.

All because Eobard Thawne created an alternative timeline wich replace the original one, so in few words, if Barry save his mother he erases himself from existence that is what should happen.

But like Barry alredy messed up too much everything, he could never erase all the damage done to the original time and access to it or restore it

I love musicals. I don't care what anyone says. Also I appreciate their acknowledgment of how important Jesus is on Legends. Well done.
