THE FLASH: THE COMPLETE SIXTH SEASON Will Race On To Blu-ray & DVD On August 25th

All of the CW DC shows were connected this year with the gargantuan five-part special crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths. The massive event brought together the heroes from all across The Arrowverse, but also included cameos from other unrelated DC shows and movies such as (spoiler alert) Lucifer, Batman '66, Titans, Justice League, and more.

It was announced not too long ago that the final season of Arrow would include the special event on its Blu-Ray release. Initially it was expected that this decision was made due to the final season of Arrow only containing 10 episodes, but now we have information that proves otherwise.

Thanks to today's announcement of The Flash: The Complete Sixth Season's Blu-Ray and DVD releasing this Summer, we now know that the Scarlet Speedster's latest adventures will also include all five episodes of Crisis on Infinite Earths, providing fans who haven't purchased Arrow's final season with a major incentive to buy.

“After six strong seasons, The Flash continues to score in ratings and ranks as the top series for The CW. This must own set is filled with in-depth bonus content that fans and DC fanboys will be eager to check out to add to their Blu-ray or DVD collections; including the all-new black and white version of the “Kiss Kiss Breach Breach - Noir” episode with commentary by showrunner/ executive producer Eric Wallace.” - Rosemary Markson, WBHE Senior Vice President, Television Marketing.

Last season, Team Flash spent the last year dealing with not one, but two Cicadas, the return of Eobard Thawne, aka Reverse Flash, and the surprise arrival from the future of Barry and Iris’ daughter, Nora West-Allen, aka XS. The stakes were higher than ever during the season five finale. In season six, Team Flash contends with not one, but two all-new villains – Bloodwork and Mirror Master!

The Flash: The Complete Sixth Season arrives on Blu-Ray and DVD on August 25th for $39.99 and $49.99 respectively.

Hopefully they explore the other 3 forces next season (Still, Sage, Strength).

Also, OT: Saw the first episode of Stargirl last night.

This was a great season. Best since S3, which I think is very underrated. Bloodwork was great, Mirrorverse was intriguing and gave us a great Flash suit.

This was the best season since season 2. It wasn't great, but it was all around solid, good and largely enjoyable. I'm honestly a bit impressed that the show turned itself around so much after the putrid previous three seasons, especially dumb AF season 5. After last season, I was ready to quit this show after Crisis, but Eric Wallace did a really solid job reenergizing this show. Upwards and onwards hopefully for Flash next season, hope they keep the momentum and quality going.

@HeavyMetal4Life - I've been disillusioned by these shows for quite a while. I wish they would scrap them all, move new versions to HBOmax with truncated seasons, like half of the episodes, and start fresh.

IIRC since yesterday S6 should also be available for most users on Netflix so getting this DVD would be in my interest, if not I have to wait for November.

Then again that's what I've always done so. :P

I liked the direction the new showrunner took things, hope he brings that back and delivers again next year with whatever new story he has chosen.

I've got season 1 and 2 on Blu-Ray and watching them was enough because every season that follows is pretty much the same.

Another speedster introduced as the main threat
Barry loses his powers
Doubts himself
Crying
Shitty writing and acting
Not very comic book accurate mainly wrong race portraying characters

Boring shit

@soberchimera - I never went away. I've always been there, lurking in the darkest corners ready to pounce and give my opinion.
