VIDEO: Watch The Shocking Moment THE FLASH Learned The True Identity Of Savitar

Last night's episode of The Flash finally revealed who Savitar is, but it's a moment which has left us with a long list of questions. See if you can answer them by rewatching that shocking reveal...

Barry Allen is Savitar. Well, a future version of him anyway. We still don't know what made the Scarlet Speedster turn evil, but those are questions which look set to be answered over the next few weeks as the story unfolds. Theories currently doing the rounds include him being a time remnant that survived Barry's original battle with Savitar and The Flash from the Flashpoint timeline, but who knows!

Either way, it seems as if we can expect answers to head out
way as soon as next week, but you can search for clues in the video below. It's there that Savitar is finally unmasked and reveals that he's Barry from the future. However, this is a twist we should have all seen coming from the very start!

That's because Savitar has been saying from the start that, "I'm the future Flash." We all just thought he was claiming, "I'm the future, Flash." See the difference? Looking back at some of his past comments, it seems like Savitar may not have had the likes of Joe and Iris in his life and that's why he hates Barry, but again, it's too soon to say for sure. What do you think? Share your thoughts below.

@SuperCat - And then they had Savitar say "It's about time."

Yeah, pretty sure we all felt that way.

@SuperCat - I was trying not to laugh. Why is a time remnant like Savatar not chased by a time wraith?

@Doomsday8888 - Probably because everyone figured it out at least 2 months ago and they kept pretending like we hadn't.

I am cracking up on how some everyone was saying.....I knew it....how obvious.....predictable......yet there are articles where everyone is trying to guess who it was.

@JoeMomma29 - I took that as people not wanting to believe it was the obvious. I don't think there's a problem in hoping that the writing would be better.

To be clear, I have no problem with Savitar being Barry. It makes the character way more interesting than he's ever been in the comics. But like, they telegraphed it SOOO hard.

@MattBellissimo -

"It makes the character way more interesting than he's ever been in the comics."

Not too familiar with the comics, but an alternative future Flash as Savitar does not improve the current Flash or make the current Flash more interesting. Either Flash or Savitar/Future Flash is a time remnant meaning that the future is not set that Flash becomes Savitar.

@Scarilian - I meant it makes Savitar more interesting than being a nobody. Basically the show's version is Savitar in name only....he's actually just this in a suit of armor:

@Scarilian - I'm interested to see how it plays out, but with the way this season has developed Barry....I don't have much hope.

@MattBellissimo - Why is this version more interesting though? For me it seems obvious this scarfaced Barry borrowed the name from the real one. Not so much different from the case in the MCU with the Mandarin.

@NinnesMBC - Maybe I'm just hoping for some true ramifications over the fact that Barry is an irresponsible time meddler. Having a bitter, future version of himself teach him a lesson is more interesting than the nameless, boring Savitar of the comics. Just my two cents.

@MattBellissimo - I see, but I don't think this has anything to do with time travel in particular at this point. We already have seen him make trips to the past (Season 2) and to the future and nothing went wrong in those. The ramifications were the groundwork of Season 3 post the 1st ep. This Barry that borrowed the name of Savitar clearly can be the biggest one but I don't think he is interested in teaching him about more consequences about that.

Savitar from the comics is the Ra's Al Ghul of the Speed Force so to speak but he's a force to be reckon with.

"Like I've told you from the beginning....'I'm the future Flash'"

Dumbest pun ever.

Discovering a speedsters identity should never have to be the endgame.
It was AWESOME in the first Season, ok-ish in the 2nd, complete useless in the third.
This is lazy writing.

Imagine if they started the season THIS way, and slowly showed us WHY Barry became Savitar, shit could've been great.
