THE FLASH: Tom Felton's Julian Dorn Has A Love/Hate Relationship With Barry Allen

We know very little about Tom Felton's (Harry Potter) role on The Flash, but the actor has now provided a little more background on his CSI, Julian Dorn, and his relationship with Barry Allen...

While we don't know very much about Tom Felton's role in season 3 of The Flash, we do know the actor will be playing CSI Julian Dorn, who will be a colleague of Barry Allen's in the new Flashpoint timeline. Speaking to SciFiNow, the actor revealed that his relationship with Barry isn't exactly the friendliest.

“He’s a forensic expert, so he treads on the toes of much of what Barry is good at,” said Felton. “Hence they have a slightly abrasive relationship at first. I say abrasive, but I mean that — clearly because of the events of the season — none of the relationships that Barry has had with other cast members is the same."

Given his actions  in altering the time stream, Barry won't have any memory of the antagonistic relationship between the two at first. "He’s not familiar with me, but I’m familiar with him, so it’s an odd dynamic,” said Felton. “It seems like a love/hate thing at first.” Given his history of playing an antagonist, Felton was asked if Dorn would contrast with his previous roles. “Absolutely not,” Felton laughs. “I would hope the opposite.”

Casting an actor like Felton continues the trend of The CW getting some pretty big names to appear on their shows, including Summer Glau on Arrow, and Mark Hamill on The Flash. Many have speculated that Felton could secretly be playing Dr. Alchemy (who will be voiced by Tobin Bell).

Are you looking forward to seeing Felton on The Flash? Sound off below!

Feck.

SECOND!!!

Anyways, I have missed this show. Last year was great; a superhero show just about every night of the week. Except for Arrow, ugh! TERRIBLE show! And, sad, because The Green Arrow is one of my favorite comic book characters. That show is just one huge let-down.

The Flash is one of my favorites, though, right up there with Agents of SHIELD. I just like the look, feel, and "scent" of the show. It is just a GOOD show.

Looking forward to my superhero shows back on TV. I hate the summer and mid-season breaks. They just suck.

@bropous - I even stopped dvr-ing Arrow. The only Time I liked Green Arrow last year was when the found old 1 arm Ollie in Legends of Tomorrow.

@bropous - I always used to think he was one of the better ones in Harry Potter, and I've enjoyed the roles I've seen him in since.

stopped watching Flash after the season 2 premiere, but having Felton on this show seems like an awesome grab. He's a great actor.

@cbostont102 - it finally hit me how shitty and cheesy the writing was.

I was only watching the show to see Flash, not watch the show on its merits. I gave up and watched other shows more worthy of the time.
