Westworld delivered a cliffhanger for the ages tonight as fans were left on the edge of their seats at the end of the hour when the Man in Black (Ed Harris) cut into his own arm to finally discover whether he was a normal human being or if he was, in fact, a host. The intense scene, of course, cuts to black right before we get an answer, but that should be one helluva moment to pick up with when the series returns for its epic season finale next Sunday.

Watch the new promo for the season two finale, titled "The Passenger," below:

If this series doesn't win an Emmy after this season I'll be mighty pissed.

Alright theory time, Ford put the data collected from the guest's into the host to act as their conscience and it also what made them self aware. Ford realized that to bring out their conscience he had to ease them into it our they would end up like Delose and loose their minds, so he created narratives to help them discover that the world around them was "the wrong world". Multiple times the host talk about living in a dream and for them to truly wake up they have to reach the valley.

Wow what a crazy wild episode, love that this was both a Man in Black centric episode (my favorite character) but also had so much from the other mains. So many big shocks, can't believe William killed his daughter (wonder if she's truly dead) and Teddy killed himself. Love ghost Ford. And love how this episode really came full circle with the show and tied up some loose ends/ explained some stuff from both seasons.

@HeavyMetal4Life - HBO airing another appropriate episode on Father's Day. Two years ago, it was the Battle of the Bastards. This year, a father killing his own daughter.

I still have to watch season 2 of this and season 2 of Legion...which one should I watch first so I dont have that feeling of this show isnt as interesting as the other, and will help keep interest the entire way through.

@DoctorDoomSayer - You should watch back-to-back episodes of each. Like one Legion ep. followed by one Westworld until the end of each season. And binge it. >:D
