Collider managed to catch up with Agent Carter producers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus at this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con to quiz them about how much the series will tie into the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. "What’s great is that we have the same bonus with Cap one, that we could do anything we want because we don’t have to tie into anything because we come before everything," McFeely revealed. "Then we forced them to tie into us." However, it was Markus would would reveal one very interesting detail; we're finally going to get to see Edwin Jarvis, the man who serves as The Avengers' faithful butler in the comic books but has been replaced by an A.I. (who is set to become The Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "We’ll certainly have Easter eggs and even more than that. I think I can say, one of the characters will be Edwin Jarvis, who is Howard Stark’s manservant, who goes on to be a tutor to Tony, and therefore is the inspiration for the AI voice and all that. So it’s that kind of interconnectedness that should make peoples ears go … that’s the kind of reaction I want. That’s right." How do you guys feel about this news?

The poster is fake. Thor is the concept art from the first Avengers, Hulk is from a still of the movie.

Sweet! I love this plot development!

I also wondered, the synthetic man, or the original "human torch" was in Cap, I wonder if that tech will factor into the development of vision as well, just a thought.

@antman8o8

That's clearly photoshopped. The Thor image is from early concept art of the first Avengers, and the Hulk is a still picture from The Avengers... We'll get the real full poster tomorrow.

Pretty sure Bettany is in. The facts:

Agent Carter will feature Jarvis, Whedon implemented a scene (flashback) featuring Peggy, Jarvis (Bettany), and Rogers. --- It would only make sense for Agent Carter to then also use Bettany.

I am really hoping that flashback scene between Cap and Peggy in AOU has Bettany as James Hammond, the original human torch. So many possibilities with Agent Carter -the Howling Commandoes, Union Jack -it has real potential to be a bigger piece of the MCU than AOS.

Should have been a real person all along... but sure throw him back 50 years into the past, works for Hank Pym.
