Uh who cares about Agent Sitwell? Other than that I am really liking the show. Hope it goes for another season because there are huge opportunities to go with this.

@ 0mega:

The irony is, Arrow is really getting good atm (s2)... -_-

But in all seriousness, just googled the writers & lo & behold they were writers on NBC's spy comedy: CHUCK

"Dangerous secrets are being kept from Coulson’s team"- wonder if this starts to tie into the deception that appears to be involved within SHIELD in the new Cap movie.

I'm a HUGE marvel fan but this show sucks. They have thousands of characters (powered and non-powered) to use but they make up watered down versions of similar characters. They better step it up and in a hurry.

An Agents of SHIELD post with only two comments about Arrow? Did I spell comicbookmovie.com correctly?

It hasn't been 100% awesome like the blacklist, but it has been getting better and im interested in the future of the show. The promise of Graviton has me interested for future mcu intros and im glad they are getting the kinks out withe the early episodes. It should be more serious in general, i love the 24 comparison. Either get serious or grab Whedon and have him to infuse some comedy

@MrMegaDeath
"LET ME GUESS THE GUY WHO HAS DARKER SKIN THEN A WHITE GUY WILL BE A BAD GUY IN AOS"

Well, that same guy with darker skin appeared to be almost equal with Coulson in Thor and Avengers, so... let's jump to conclusions.

Did you guys that're complaining actually watch the AoS episode Eye Spy?... Or did you just see the trailer and create your own narrative in your head, then decide that's all you'll acknowledge?

The show is far from great but has a lot of potential and is getting better and better with each episode. I would much prefer they allow it to find its feet before they just throw valuable characters into canon.

This show is getting better. I agree with bropous, even if you don't like it, just don't watch. The only show that I hope is shut off is revolution, and that is because the science and people are so stupid it's not even funny. (yes the inflatable raft was a tad ridiculous)

Bringing on a minor and forgettable character to help boost the bleeding ratings?

I don't know about you but for me this just doesn't...'sit well'.

I know this show isnt exactly on par with Arrow, but plz keep watching it. I enjoy the show, and I'm sure its not intolerable to anyone. I want this show to continue, and it has been getting better. I mean, I watch Avengers Assemble, Ult. Spider-Man, and Beware the Batman even tho I dont really like em, I'm just a comic book fan boy and theres never anything actually good on. So, please help keep the ratings steady.

I think they are building up for the big finale....where Fitz and Simmons corner a ex-shield agent bad guy (because it seems like that's the story for every episode) and talk really fast at the same time until the ex-agent kills himself.
Demongod20
Demongod20 - 10/24/2013, 9:14 PM
My only problem with this show is that they don't have or use a continuous storyline where each episode picks up where the last one left off and the events in the previous episode effects the out come of the current one. It's just a villain or mission of the week type of thing where everything going to shit then gets neatly wrapped up by the end of the episode. I want something that pulls me in and makes me dread the fact that I have to wait 6 more days to see it like The Walking Dead does.

I like the show I just wish it was better than what it currently is.

TheSisko
TheSisko - 10/24/2013, 9:19 PM
@Demongod20 AOS is building up to that. They are already building up storylines such as Skye' s past, what happened to Coulson, and the centipide project.
TheAstoundingMan
TheAstoundingMan - 10/24/2013, 10:02 PM
^Agreed. By episode five of Angel I was still holding out for an episode containing an arc that went beyond the 40 minute run time.

I don't see how introducing C-list heroes/villains onto the show will automatically make AOS any better. If that were the case, we would likely be complaining that the show relies even more heavily on its association to Marvel than it already does.

For what it's worth, I'm hoping that they work on raising the stakes, and making these characters a lot more interesting than they currently are.

@ Sisko

To bad it is going to take a whole season to build up to something. By that time viewers will keep losing interest in the show!

The show started out cheesy but IS getting better every episode, and that can't be denied. Give it some time. There's a lot of other shows that started out like crap but got better, and the opposite is also true.
