AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. S2, E02 Synopsis Revealed; Kyle MacLachlan To Play [SPOILER]

Marvel have released the official title, synopsis and cast list for the second episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s highly anticipated second season. As well as a name (of sorts) for Kyle MacLachlan's - who will play Skye's father - character, we also have a first look at Nick Blood as Lance Hunter!

"Heavy is the Head" - Hunted and running out of solutions, Coulson puts his team right in the line of fire in the hopes of saving them all. But with General Talbot, Hydra and Creel all on the attack, can they possibly survive? Meanwhile, a mysterious Doctor (Kyle MacLachlan) harbors some dangerous secrets that could destroy one of our core team members.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons and Nick Blood as Lance Hunter.

Guest starring are B.J. Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett, Adrian Pasdar as Brigadier General Glenn Talbot, Ruth Negga as Raina, Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie, Wilmer Calderon as Idaho, Kyle MacLachlan as The Doctor, Brian Patrick Wade as Carl Creel, Simon Kassianides as Sunil Bakshi, Carolina Espiro as waitress and Cutter Garcia as bartender.

"Heavy is the Head" was written by Paul Zbyszewski and directed by Jesse Bochco.

So, any thoughts on who "The Doctor" could be? One of the most interesting things about this description is the fact that Director Coulson and his team will find themselves being pursued by General Talbot, Hydra and Creel, the comic book villain better known as The Absorbing Man. It should be an exciting way to kick off the season! Oh, and what do you guys think of our first look at Nick Blood as Lance Hunter? Sound off with your thoughts on all of this below!

If we are bringing in more Hulk characters on AOS, can we please finally get Rick Jones in the MCU?

We had our first look at Lance a while ago and didn't we already know Kyle was going to play "the doctor" and we had all the dr who and dr strange jokes?

They should bring in Doc Samson from The Incredible Hulk for an episode. He's one of the Hulk's most important ancillary characters. Samson's really gotten the shaft so far in the MCU.

Just hurry and put the Wrecking Crew in the series so they can pop up in someone's movie without a "intro" being needed

Hell, let the Wrecking Crew open Avengers 3 before the title screen.

They should have no problem getting Ty Burrell for a cameo as Doc Samson. Modern Family is part of the Disney family after all.

Yeah I didn't remember his origin but I wouldn't say he has nothing to do with Hulk
He's been in more fights against Hulk than Thor

@Staryeezus ...Modern Family is owned by 20th Century Fox so it is NOT apart of the Disney family. At least it isn't in the way that you assume that it is.

@TrueBattfleck
So does that give me permission to go to into an Arrow or Flash thread to post production photos of Avengers: Age of Ultron? I mean I wouldn't because that is low brow and quite immature but I am just saying that if someone did as such on a D.C based thread for a Marvel pictures film ...what are the odds that you would throw a hissy over it?

And then there is the fact that you are not saying much with posting a photo. If you have a point you want to make about the current conversation in regards to a comparison to what WB is doing, then say it. Have an actual argument and argue it with paragraphs of explanation on why you feel the way you feel. Give us actual evidence and an explanation of said evidence and how it proves your point. If all you provide is trolling material ...then all you look like to us, who are having a conversation about something different, is someone who is trying to troll a product and fanbase that he considers 'the enemy' because he lacks the scope and maturity to realize that everything is not so black and white. But certainly you would have more good sense to than that, wouldn't you?

Did we need the Batmobile post? Anyways it's refreshing to see them step out of that X-Files vibe the first season had and into some real superhero stuff.

What if Skye is actually based on Daisy Johnson (Quake). Her father would be Doctor Zabo/Mister Hyde... Which would be characters easy and possible to bring to TV.

Am I the only one who has to Google image search people from these articles? Can't be that tough to ad an image of Kyle MacLachlan to the article? Especially for mobile users...

Didn't realize he was the Dune guy (and in that Saved by the Bell chic's stripper movie)
