Lucy Lawless On Her Shocking AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Debut
On last night's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D season 2 première we were introduced to new character Isabelle Hartley, who was played by Xena: Warrior Princess herself, Lucy Lawless. She made quite an impact, but her debut wasn't exactly what many of us expected! SPOILERS ahead..
Alas poor Agent Isabelle Hartley, we barely knew you. After debuting in style and making us all fall in love with her (that wasn't just me right?), Lucy Lawless' tough-as-nails mercenary was killed off at the end of last night's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 première. It was definitely a shocker for fans -- especially given that we'd just witnessed her pal Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) amputate her arm in the previous scene! But this being Marvel, is there any chance we could see Hartley return in some fashion? Lawless (a comic book fan who says battling the Absorbing Man took her back to her childhood) reckons it's definitely a possibility. "Absolutely," she tells The Hollywood Reporter. "It's whatever the writers want to write. All things are possible in SHIELD. That's what I love in this sci-fi comic world. There are no absolutes. There are no bottom lines. Every boundary is bendable." Would you like to see Hartley return? How about Lawless in another Marvel role? Check out the full interview at the link below.
