Marvel clearly wants us to believe that whoever winds up wearing that chain in the fateful space-set scene from the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3 finale that was teased in an earlier episode, is the character that's going to wind up brown bread.

The cross was Yo-Yo's, who passed it to Mack, who passes it back to her in the clip below. Does this scream red herring to anyone else? Personally, I'll be very surprised if it's either of these two that buys it. What do you guys think?

Love Mack's and Yo-Yo's chemistry. Great characters.

Yo-Yo is one dimensional, she can do the Yo-Yo ability and wants to do good.

Mack's not really had any true character trait to warrant a good death scene.

It should be May, it would affect the team the most and enable Daisy/Skye to move into the position of 'second-in-command' then the next season can have Coulson die or be kidnapped or something that puts her in command of Shield.

It passes back and forth throughout the episode, and then one of them is trapped in a ship with Coulson or May and there's only one escape pod. So Coulson/May pushes them into the pod--causing them to drop the necklace--and gives a heartfelt speech on the intercom before dying.

Ive noticed Coulsons current arch has been very similar to steve rogers post TWS even mirroring moments from cap. The laser shield scene was nearly beat for beat from tws and the bunker scene. Maybe Coul mallkes one final sacrifice ( That would mirror the Cap/Hydra Plane scene) and spoiler alrer the cypernetic hand can also generate force fields.

Mack: Moderade danger only memeber seen in photos wearing a blue Shield jacket, my or may not habe necklace.

May: Extreme Danger To save her almost family may will lay down her life. Character has come full circle and unless put through the mist shes simply the seldom spoken bad ass.

FitsSimmons: Moderate danger, The tragic twist to their nerwly formed relationship ends in tragedy and the surviving memeber departing shield or becoming evil. Ftiz did have the necklace in the promo.

Lincon: Extreme. Always making the sacrifice play and typically has a temper when it comes to protecting Daisy.

Daisy: Moderate she can easily grab the dropped necklace at anypoint in time and would make the call to risk he life for her team and extended family. Maybe he Quake powers could protect her in space like a force bubble.

Coulson: Moderate already has gone to great lengths to protect and keep Daisy safe. Laser force field?

Id assume since their new Joey and Yo Yo would be safe. Although it could be possible.

Crazy Theory: Grant Ward. Upon being free from hive Ward takes a quinjet that has a Uniform and the necklace onboard. After a radio chat Ward discovers Hive on board injured. Ward puts on the uniform amd proceeds to tell Daisy jes always loved her and ask Cpul for forgiveness. Then after a powerful speach Ward overloads the Quinjet reactor causing the warhead onboard to explode.
