Saffron Burrows To Play 'Victoria Hand' In MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
Latino-Review have exclusively revealed that Saffron Burrows (The Bank Job) has been cast in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and while there's currently no news on when she'll debut in the ABC series, a few more details can be found after the jump!
As Arrow busies itself by introducing the likes of Black Canary and Ra's Al Ghul to audiences, ABC and Marvel are countering that with...Victoria Hand? According to the folks over at Latino-Review, British actress Saffron Burrows will play the character in this season of the show. In the comics, Hand is Norman Osborn's right hand woman when he takes over S.H.I.E.L.D. and re-brands it as H.A.M.M.E.R., but don't expect to see the Sony Pictures owned Green Goblin make an appearance in the Marvel series. Burrows is openly bisexual, while the character of Victoria Hand was revealed to be a lesbian by creator Brian Michael Bendis. Whether this ultimately plays a part during her time in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. remains to be seen. What do you guys think?
