WIth COVID delaying Marvel Studios' entire Phase 4 slate, it was inevitable that toys would find their way into stores for those movies and TV shows before they were supposed to. That's why we've had first looks at everything from Eternals to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in advance, and a few weeks back, we got to see U.S. Agent.
So, while this may not have come as a much of a surprise in today's finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, there's no denying that John Walker's transformation is one of the most intriguing parts of this series.
Despite clearly suffering with his mental health and the impact the Super Soldier Serum had on his psyche, the former Captain America proved himself a hero in today's finale and has been enlisted by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine to serve as U.S. Agent. He doesn't have a shield - yet - but seems very happy with his new role, and is seemingly on the side of the angels...for now, at least.
After all, we don't really know what "Val" is up to, or who she's working for, so it obviously remains to be seen what sort of missions she chooses to send this "U.S. Agent" on.
That costume looks great, though, and you can check out a first look below:
