Ahead of this Friday's new episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Marvel has released a TV spot which contains an intriguing glimpse of some footage from the third instalment of the Disney+ series.
At the end of "The Star Spangled Man," Bucky managed to convince Sam to pay a visit to the incarcerated Zemo in order to find out what he knows about The Flag Smashers and their possible connection to Hydra. Here, we see Barnes approach his cell, as the Civil War villain reveals that he "knows where to begin."
It's only a very brief tease, but we're getting a Hannibal Lector/Clarice Starling vibe from this dynamic. We know Zemo manages to escape at some point, but it sounds like he may be willing to fill in a few blanks and point our heroes in the right direction... for a price!
All eyes are on the shield, as Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, and Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier, decide to team up—or rather, work together—when a new global threat launches them into an unexpected mission that may hit too close to home.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will see the titular heroes team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities...and their patience. Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the series also stars Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Zemo, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker.
