THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER Merchandise Reveals A Surprising SPOILER About Sharon Carter

Some new promo art for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier reveals that Marvel Studios will be taking Sharon Carter down a potentially unexpected route in the upcoming Disney+ series. Read on for details...

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was supposed to hit Disney+ back in August, but the pandemic delayed shooting, and now we're not sure when exactly we'll get to see the Marvel Studios TV series.

Filming has wrapped, but depending on where it needs to fall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline (before or after Black Widow, for example), we'll either see it early next year...or well into the summer. Time will tell on that front, of course, but in the meantime, we have some new promo art!

For the most part, it uses those familiar shots of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, but by far the most interesting reveal is that C.I.A. agent Sharon Carter will be on the run in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. It's unclear whether the two title heroes will also be fugitives, but this is a big status quo change for Sharon, and we can't help but wonder what she does that leads to this.

Chances are it has something to do with the new Captain America and whatever Baron Zemo is plotting, but we'll just have to hope that an eventual trailer sheds some light on plans for Peggy Carter's niece.

Check out this promo art from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier below:

Damn. She helped Cap, thought she’d get a chance to be with him, then he left her to be wanted for her 200 year old aunt. Ultron was right about the avengers smh

Didn't she help team Cap in Civil War? Makes sense that she is branded a traitor alongside with them as she probably still has some conflicted ideals

I'm sure this will debut on Disney + after WandaVision ends or a little after that, probably in April or most likely May. Loki in late summer or Fall, followed by The Mandalorian season 3, then probably She-Hulk after that.

Didnt Thunderbolt tell Rhodey to arrest Captain America in Infinity War? He probably doesnt give a shit about pardoning heroes even after saving the universe.

It’d be Somewhat weird if Carter was still wanted for the events of Civil War and Falcon and Bucky were not. So either this is for something more that has happened since, or her lack of fame left her in a worse position than the two title characters.
