THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER Reveals Power Broker's Identity And Drops A Big Phase 4 Tease - SPOILERS

We were definitely left with some unanswered questions after today's season finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but the series did reveal the Power Broker's identity. Find more details here...

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier set the stage for a big Power Broker reveal early on, and those theories about it being Sharon Carter proved to be spot on. There have been lots of far more exciting suggestions put forward in recent weeks, but that hint in Madripoor was clearly meant to set up this big twist.

After returning to the U.S. to help Sam and Bucky take down the Flag Smashers, Sharon confronts Karli Morgenthau and it's then we learn that she is, in fact, the Power Broker.

Sharon created the Super Soldiers because she wanted to take revenge on a system that had wronged her; Karli and the others, meanwhile, wanted to "fix" the world (which is why they went on the run). The former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent is able to keep her secret safe by gunning down both Karli and Batroc, and a mid-credits scene (there's only one) sees Sharon pardoned and given her old job back.

Outside, Sharon calls someone and says that they now have access to all the government's secrets, something that should prove to be even more valuable than a few super-powered individuals. It's a little underwhelming as stingers go, but clearly meant to set Sharon up as a minor villain in the MCU moving forward.

When and where she'll return remains to be seen, but Sharon being the Power Broker is sure to factor into the espionage side of Captain America and Bucky's future adventures (we're definitely banking on a second season).

What did you think about The Falcon and The Winter Soldier's big Power Broker reveal?

@MikeyL - bingo

This is exactly what the skrulls did. They infiltrated the government at the highest levels.

This means the real human sharon is still out there. Either dead, or alive. Or Sharon was a skrull all along....

I enjoyed this episode. Sam Wilson Captain America costume looks marvelous. U.S. Agent. I've no problem with Sharon Carter being the Power Broker; I love that twist. I'm hoping we get a second of this series. I told the fam Sam would be getting a new Red Wing. Isaiah Bradley getting a statue in the Smithsonian Museum was great.

Huge letdown of a finale. The writing just isn’t up to par. BUT OH MY GOD EPISODE 7 OF INVINCIBLE IS INSANE. THIS SHOW IS UNBELIEVABLE. IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER. Total pallet cleanser after the Falc finale. This might just be the greatest animated comic book related content of all time. Better yet, this show shits all over the majority of live action comic book movies/shows too. Like by a METRIC shit ton. This is not an exaggeration. if you aren’t watching this show you need to stop what you are doing and go on a bender. Episode 7 just blew my [frick]ing mind!!!
