HAWKEYE: Jeremy Renner & Hailee Steinfeld Shoot A Car Chase Scene In Latest Batch Of Set Photos

An early piece of Hawkeye concept art showed Clint Barton and Kate Bishop speeding away in a red car while shooting off arrows, and it looks like the production team is finally filming that key sequence.

When Marvel Studios first announced Hawkeye, they showed off a cool piece of concept art featuring Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) making a quick getaway in a red car while firing off arrows left-and-right, and it now looks like the production crew is actually filming said scene.

Just Jared has shared a new batch of set photos from Atlanta, offering tons of new shots of the two Marvel stars. It looks like we also have a new look at their assailants, who appear to be some baddies decked out in red tracksuits?

In addition to Renner (Captain America: Civil WarAvengers: Endgame) and Steinfeld (Dickinson; Bumblebee), the supporting cast will also include Florence Pugh (Black Widow; Little Women) as Yelena Belova, Vera Farmiga (The DepartedUp in the Air), Tony Dalton (Better Call SaulSense8), Fra Fee (CinderellaLes Misérables) as Kazi, Zahn McClarnon (Westworld; Doctor Sleep) as William Lopez, Brian d’Arcy James (SpotlightX-Men: Dark Phoenix) in an undisclosed role, and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, a.k.a. Echo.

Ava Russo, Ben Sakamoto, and Cade Woodward are also slated to appear as Clint Barton's children Lila, Cooper, and Nathaniel, respectively. However, there's no word yet on whether Linda Cardellini (Avengers: Endgame; Avengers: Age of Ultron) will also appear as Barton's wife Laura, although it's probably not a stretch to presume she will, assuming there are no scheduling conflicts with her Netflix series Dead to Me.

Jonathan Igla (Mad MenSorry for Your Loss) is serving as showrunner, with Rhys Thomas (Staten Island SummerSaturday Night Live) and the filmmaking duo Bert and Bertie (Troop ZeroThe Great) serving as directors on the eight-episode series.

Hawkeye is set to debut exclusively on Disney+ in Late 2021!

@Manmarvel - in the comic it’s a 1970 Challenger.

@BlackBeltJones - no that is a 1971. The sides are going to be the same in 70 and 71 while the sides are different for years 72-74. The 70 has a solid grill and tail light, while the 71 has a split grill and tail light.

@Cbmfilmjunkie - With EV’s on the horizon...and many automakers committed to building them exclusively....a car with a big naturally aspirated V8 with real horsepower is gonna be rare indeed.

@PerrinNation1 -

Was reading about that this am.
Rumors were they were doing away with the SRT but that was false, thank goodness.

You’re right though. Only a matter of time before the Chall goes EV or is discontinued 😞

@Cbmfilmjunkie - SRT was the Viper and also performance department. Just because that is no longer its own department, does not mean they got rid of it all together. It gets complicated the way they run it all. The Viper was no longer a Dodge in its final days and the Dodge Rams dropped the Dodge and have been only Rams for over ten years now. 🤷‍♂️

Can’t wait, I imagine Clint might be out as an Avenger after this (they’ve basically had him be out since Age of Ultron) but I’m exited to see Kate Bishop come in and where the character goes

So each show seems to be building new heroes into the MCU without the reliance of the movies to waste time on introductions and origin stories. So far we are at Photon and I wonder who will be the new hero for Falcon and Winter Soldier. We know Loki will be introducing Kang the Conqueror and we know Hawkeye is molding Kate Bishop to take on the mantle.

@SonOfAGif - I think Patriot for Falcon and Winter Soldier.
